What we hold, and where it came from.
Split in two, because there are two ways your details reach us: you wrote to us, or we wrote to you first. The second half is the one most people are looking for.
Who we are
AIM is the controller of the data described on this page. We are a private company based in Singapore.
Write to hello@aivancements.com about anything here — a request, a correction, or a complaint — and a person will read it.
If you contacted us
The contact form collects your name, designation, company, work email, and — if you choose to give them — a phone number and a message. Nothing else on this site collects anything about you.
It reaches us as an email so we can reply, sent over an ordinary authenticated SMTP connection to our own mail provider. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or move you onto a marketing list because you asked us a question.
Enquiries stay in our email for as long as the conversation is useful. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
If we contacted you
We run business-to-business outreach, so you may hear from us without having asked. What sits behind that email — what we hold, which published source each part of it came from, our lawful basis, how long we keep it and how to make it stop — is set out in full in a separate notice: Business contact data. That is the notice UK GDPR Article 14 requires, and the page our emails link to.
It is kept there rather than repeated here on purpose, because two copies of those facts drift apart. The one thing worth saying twice is how to stop: reply to any of our emails with the word unsubscribe, or write to hello@aivancements.com. No reason needed, and it does not expire.
Who else sees it
Our mail provider, in the course of delivering the message, and no one else. They act on our instructions. Nobody buys this data from us, and it is not used for advertising anywhere.
Where it is held
We are a Singapore company. Your details are collected by us directly from the published sources named in that notice, and held in Singapore from the outset — they are not gathered for us in the UK and then sent on. Singapore has its own data protection law, the Personal Data Protection Act, and our own security controls apply wherever the data sits.
Being outside the UK takes nothing away from you. Every right described on this page — to see what we hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object — works the same way and on the same one-month timetable, and the ICO route below stays open to you.
What this site does not do
No analytics or tracking scripts. No cookies. No advertising pixels. No embedded video, maps or chat widgets. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for a copy of it, or object to our using it at all. Email hello@aivancements.com and we will action it within one month.
If you are in the UK and we have handled this badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first, but it is your right either way.
